Another Life

In 2025 I broke off an engagement. It was the most painful thing I have ever gone through, and I'm grateful for it anyway, because it changed me in ways I wouldn't trade. The person writing this is not the person who started that year. All of those lessons put me in a place to grow faster than I ever have in my life.

I didn't give up on love. I never will. It's too important to me. So I did what I do with everything that matters to me: I went all in. I hired a research team and went on a genuinely crazy journey to find the woman I'm with today. It worked.

I had always dreamed of making music, but my partners were never supportive of it. She was different. The moment I told her, she demanded I write and produce her a song. That song became Twisted Fate. Three months after we started dating, she flew home to close her business and pack her whole life for Miami, thousands of miles away. Being apart that month was brutal, so I wrote her a poem to get through it. Most of that poem became the lyrics.

I loved making it so much I couldn't stop writing. Everything went into this album: the growth, the hurt, the pain, the heartbreak, and the overwhelming love she gives me. It is literally a piece of my life. And if it helps one person get through something hard, it was worth every second.
